Georgiana "Georgie" Rokesby (née Bridgerton) is the younger sister of Billie and Edmund Bridgerton. She is also the wife of Nicholas Rokesby.
Biography[]
Georgiana is the third child of Lord Bridgerton and Lady Bridgerton. She is nine years younger than her sister Billie Bridgerton Rokesby. She is one year younger than Edmund Bridgerton and one year older than Hugo Bridgerton. As a child, she was sickly and suffered from asthma.
She did not have a London Season, although does go to London on occasion with her family.
At the time of ATS, she has three cats - Judyth, Blanche, and Cat-Head (formerly known as Patch).
Personality[]
Described as curious and sarcastic. She becomes interested in the medical field, but women are not admitted to medical school at this time. She loves to read.
Physical appearance[]
Georgiana is described as very beautiful. She has pale skin and is of medium height, with a wide smile and bright blue eyes. Her beautiful strawberry-blonde hair is thick and wavy, with tight, delicate curls. She is the only redhead in her family. According to her husband, Nicholas, her hair is red, but not that bright orange shade that stands out like a beacon, but more of a soft, delicate hue. They said the color was called sun-kissed blonde. Nicholas liked the term because it seemed quite accurate; in fact, as he stole a glance at Georgie, basking in the sun, he admired her hair, which seemed to reflect the sun in every strand, its strands having a warm, luminous hue.
Relationships[]
Romantic[]
She is married to Nicholas Rokesby, youngest of the Rokesby family. They move to Edinburgh, Scotland immediately after their marriage so that Nicholas can continue his studies at medical school.
Familial[]
As a child, she is not very close to her sister Billie, mainly due to the large age gap and Georgiana's health issues keeping her indoors. She's closer to Edmund or Hugo due to age, however she feels like she could be considered an only child. Violet (Edmund's wife) has become a sister to her.
Friendships[]
Friends with Mary Rokesby Maynard, who shares her love of cats.
