Sybilla "Billie" Rokesby, Viscountess Kennard (née Bridgerton) is the titular character and female protagonist from Because of Miss Bridgerton. She is the love interest of George Rokesby.

The daughter of a viscount. She took care of the estate in her brother's absence and knew very much every inch of the property. She once said she wished she were born a male so she could inherit the estate since she was already doing so.

Billie is described as very beautiful and exceptionally full of life. She has a wide smile and an infectious laugh. Billie is petite and strong with small breasts, but she has curves in all the right places. Her brown hair is thick and straight, and her eyes are lovely—a dark brown that always felt warm and welcoming, no matter how much anger they might harbor deep inside. And her skin is incredibly fair for someone who spent so much time outdoors, despite sporting sixty-two freckles across her nose and cheeks.
Loved by almost everyone growing up, she is best friends with Mary Rokesby and her siblings (except George). A very kind-hearted person, but also adventurous and fearless. Billie would rather be outside doing things than indoors reading a book. She hates cats, though she will help them if they need her.
Lord Manston often said that Billie was the finest thing to happen to the Rokesby family since they’d gained their title in 1672. She was passionate about farming and land management, and Crake’s agricultural output had nearly doubled in the decade since she’d married George.
