Sophie Beckett[]
He first met Sophie during a masquerade ball hosted by his mother. The two shared an intimate moment and danced together. When the clock struck midnight, she fled and never looked back. Benedict searched for her for six months, with no luck.
Two years later, the two reunited and completely fell in love when Benedict rescued her from an aggressive sexual assault. He gave her shelter at his cottage where she nursed him back to health after falling sick from the rain. When they returned to London, she got a position as a lady's maid to his youngest sisters, Eloise, Francesca, and Hyacinth. Almost two weeks later, Benedict found Sophie somewhat distressed, and took her to his house to feel better. There, they made love for the first time, Sophie told him it would not happen again, she was not going to be his mistress. She then quit her position at his mother's and left. Benedict found her, and professed his undying love for her, wanting to marry her.
A week later, they married and moved together on the countryside to his cottage in Wiltshire. She got pregnant with their first son, Charles. They went on to have two more sons, Alexander and William, and later a daughter, Violet.
